My Favourite Horror Film

is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre the original. It was close between that and the original Halloween but Texas Chainsaw Massacre won out as it scared the living daylights out of me when i first saw it. The scene where the guy gets bashed on the head by Leatherface and dragged into the slaughter room and you see Leatherface slam the metal door shut still sends shivers down my spine.


Also, it has one of the coolest posters (which i own). So gang, what are your favourite horror films?

    Hmmm.... I'll have to go with House on Haunted Hill. The Vincent Price one. After that, I loved the first Ring, The Fog (original), and It. i don't include zombie movies in this list because i don't think they're horror. They're just good rotting flesh fun.

    your damn right, original horror flicks ftw!! the simple effects create a more realistic atmosphere!

    tcm is definately on top of my list too.

    The original, the 1974 version is so good ans the atmosphere is amazing. It isn't just the basic "let's have some gore" parts.
